For this reason we are washing our orris roots with the water coming out from the spring of the estate. The quality of the water is key to maintain the roots white.
We can provide the product as follows:
The full white orris root – The orris rhizomes are manually peeled with special knife in order to eliminate the brown outer skin not providing any added value from smell prospective. This expensive operation will allow to provide the purest product containing just the material with the highest Irone content.
The split orris root – After plant explant the orris root is washed with natural spring water and all the small ancillary roots are cut out. Then the product will be spitted and dried naturally on the sun in the nice hills of Valdarno.
The milled orris root – The split orris root is milled into powder and packaged in drums.
